Momentum accelerated in the second half of the year, with growth reaching +3.6% and close to +5% outside Travel Retail in Asia. The Division strongly outperformed a selective market at around +1%. L’Oréal Luxe thus reinforced its global leadership position – with 2025 marking a new milestone as the Division became the number one player in North Asia – securing market leadership across all regions. The Division achieved double-digit growth in emerging markets and strongly outpaced the market in Europe – notably in the DACH and Spain/ Portugal clusters. In North America, the Division demonstrated firm resilience. In North Asia, momentum accelerated in the second half as the selective market in China returned to growth.

L’Oréal forges landmark luxury alliance with Kering
L’Oréal and Kering announced an exclusive long-term partnership that brings some of the world’s most iconic names in luxury beauty into L’Oréal Groupe and signals an ambitious expansion into high potential categories.
The agreement encompasses the acquisition by L’Oréal of the prestigious House of Creed, a leader in luxury niche fragrance, and also includes 50-year exclusive licenses to create beauty and fragrance products for Kering’s couture brands, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, and Gucci ; as well as a 50/50 joint venture with Kering to explore opportunities in luxury, wellness and longevity, combining L’Oréal’s innovation and expertise in these fields with Kering’s deep understanding of the luxury client.
This strategic alliance follows key L’Oréal-led investments and launches in 2025, including a minority stake in the Oman-based haute perfumery house Amouage, an exclusive beauty partnership with Jacquemus, the acquisition of the Medik8 skincare brand, and the launch of its first Miu Miu fragrance, Miutine. Each extraordinary brand strengthens an already formidable portfolio, further positioning the Group to capitalise on the quest for luxury.
Fragrance: striking all the right notes
L’Oréal Luxe continues to lead a growing fragrance market, achieving growth and propelling our feminine, masculine and haute perfumery collection fragrances to a new level. This success is driven by an exceptional and highly complementary portfolio of iconic brands and signature scents that respond to all consumer fragrance aspirations at all luxury price points. Our bestsellers, particularly iconic fragrances such as Yves Saint Laurent Libre and MYSLF, Prada Paradoxe, Lancôme La Vie Est Belle, Valentino Born in Roma Donna and Uomo, Ralph Lauren Polo and Armani Acqua di Giò, continue to feature among the global top 15 fragrances . Miu Miu Miutine and Prada Paradigme represented milestone fragrance debuts in 2025.
L’Oréal has pioneering expertise in scent design, thanks to a unique fusion of art and science. Through a dedicated team of over 100 in-house olfactive experts and collaborations with world-class perfumers, we ensure excellence from ingredient to bottle. This technical mastery ensures haute perfumery that delivers superior lasting power and “bloom”. Osmobloom, developed in partnership with Cosmo International Fragrances, is a breakthrough in sustainable scent extraction that uses an air capture technique to collect the fragrant molecules naturally exhaled by flowers without heat, water or chemical solvents.
This expertise translates into ultra-premium collections such as Yves Saint Laurent Vestiaire – a collection of scented tributes to the YSL brand styles, Valentino’s Anatomy of Dreams, Armani Privé, Prada Olfactories, and Maison Margiela’s blockbuster success with Replica. Luxury beauty is also about consumer experiences that create memorable connections. Brands like Aēsop bring this to life through rituals that transform a simple store visit into an immersive exploration of scent and story, art and architecture.
